Alex joined Brebners as a trainee in 2009, having graduated at The University of Reading with a Law degree. After qualifying in Audit in 2012, Alex moved over to the Media Department where he now manages a substantial portfolio of media and entertainment clients.
He advises owner managed businesses and high net worth individuals in the film and TV industry, ranging from young creatives who are just beginning to structure their finances, to high profile individuals for whom he manages all aspects of their daily financial affairs.
Alex has over five years qualified experience in media and entertainment and co-ordinates the services of the department, including VAT, payroll, personal tax returns, company accounts and corporation tax. He also advises clients on overseas taxation issues, tax residency status and creative industry tax reliefs, such as Film Tax Credits.
Brebners is here to help and support you, by assisting you with the ongoing financial planning and control of your enterprise. In doing so, we can advise you on potential help available, including the measures announced by the government, and assist with applications. Please get in touch with your usual contact at Brebners who will be able to help you (enquiries can also be made to email@example.com).

We also have specialist teams ready to help if your organisation struggles with disruptions to its own team make-up. These include payroll, bookkeeping (including experts in most cloud software packages) and accounts production specialists.
Brebners was prepared for the current situation and as such, in most cases, all the Brebners people with whom you ordinarily liaise are working remotely. They are available, as usual via email and phone.
