James joined Brebners in 2000 after completing a Physics degree at Exeter University. Since qualifying in 2003 he worked very closely with John Craig and Martin Widdowson, and managed the majority of the firm’s largest corporate audits, also assisting with corporate finance and other special assignments undertaken by the firm including due diligence assignments and the preparation of open offer documents.

James became a partner in 2014, and continues to complete forecasts, business plans, and lead due diligence assignments as a member of the Brebners Corporate Finance team, as well as growing his own portfolio of clients which includes clients in the creative, digital, retail, property and regulated FCA sectors.

Outside of work James enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, mountain biking in Epping Forest, sailing, stand up paddle boarding, and surfing.
