Jessie is a leading member of Brebners Private Client Tax team. Jessie has particular expertise in dealing with clients who have cross border aspects to their tax affairs either because they or family members have moved to/from the UK or they have invested in/outside the UK. Jessie is familiar with the tax issues arising with offshore structures (trusts and companies) as well as residence and domicile issues. She regularly advises clients (including offshore trustees) and their offshore advisors on matters affecting their UK tax affairs, including recent tax changes to the UK tax regime for non-domiciled individuals. In addition, Jessie is very familiar with UK tax issues for private clients generally including the range of taxation issues facing owner managed businesses.

Jessie has over 20 years experience working in private client tax (both advisory and compliance) with clients from a wide range of backgrounds. Often those clients will have varied business interests where, as a Certified Accountant, her knowledge of accounting issues can assist in understanding tax issues faced and developing strategies to deal with those. In addition, Jessie is also a native Mandarin speaker.
