John trained and qualified with the firm and has over 40 years of experience. , becoming a partner in 1992. As the firm’s Audit Compliance Partner he heads the audit services department which covers a wide range of industries and specialist areas , including the financial services sector.

He also acts in forensic cases having experience and expertise in expert witness services including loss claims, acquisition due diligence, valuation exercises for fiscal and taxation purposes and other specialist report matters.

John is inspired by challenge and the chance to use his analytical skills, experience and knowledge in solving clients’ problems whatever the complexity.

He is also, to the delight of his fellow partners, the firm’s technical, compliance and quality control partner.

Out of the workplace John, and his wife Wendy, have three adult children and currently four grandchildren and he describes himself predominantly as a family man. In his leisure time John takes a keen interest in a wide variety of sports despite acknowledging that his playing days are well behind him.
