Joshua joined Brebners in May 2011 as a graduate from the University of Kent where he studied Accounting & Finance. At Brebners, Joshua commenced the ATT/CTA graduate scheme completing his qualifications in January 2015 specialising in both personal and corporate tax. Joshua initially managed an eclectic portfolio but since 2017, he has specialised in the media, sports and entertainment industries. His clients range from high-net-worth individuals to those just starting out in the industry predominantly looking after their UK affairs but liaising with legal and accounting specialists outside of the UK due to the nature of the cross-border tax issues. Joshua covers all areas of tax dealing with personal tax compliance and planning, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and residency together with owner-managed businesses.
As a keen traveller, whilst at Brebners Joshua has had two sabbaticals to travel the world and remains an avid adventurer. Outside of work he is a music lover, sports fanatic and is working his way through the annual top 100 Michelin guide restaurants.
