Martin qualified with Brebners having joined the graduate program in 1984. He has been a partner since 1992 and specializes in the shipping and logistics sector advising ship and port operators and owners, shipping agents and related logistics companies. He also currently advises a range of SME clients across a number of sectors offering general business advise and experience. Martin is part of the team of partners responsible for the firm’s audit department maintaining the delivery of quality audits to our clients.

Martin holds the Corporate Finance qualification and regularly leads our assurance teams on due diligence exercises, assisting clients with mergers, acquisitions, and disposals. He also holds an Insolvency License regularly taking appointments and advising on solvent members voluntary liquidations as part of Brebners’ business exit planning.

Outside of work Martin is a season ticket holder at the AMEX watching Brighton and is also regularly found on the footplate of steam locomotives at the Bluebell Railway enjoying his passion for everything steam with aspirations to qualify as a fireman and then a driver.
