Matthew joined Brebners in 2003, having become ACA qualified in 2001. His role is that of a general practitioner dealing with a mixed portfolio of clients including those in the bar and restaurant industry, media companies, import and export businesses and art galleries.

Matthew is the point of contact for his clients over any business issue they may have. For instance, in addition to dealing with the “standard” audit and accounts process, he is proactive in helping clients to optimise their tax position, working closely with the various specialists within the firm. He also has experience in assisting clients with due diligence and forecasting assignments.

When he is not working, Matthew enjoys keeping fit and is keen on most sports. He is also currently struggling to learn the piano.
