ACA qualification within the audit department of a medium-sized accountancy practice opens up a wide spectrum of employment prospects not limited to those within the firm, where rising through the ranks to partnership is always a possibility.

At Brebners, you’ll learn all the same techniques used at the largest firms whilst gaining a significant breadth of experience, working on a wide variety of assignments for clients large and small, from multi-national corporate groups to owner-managed businesses across a range of industries. Such experience is welcomed by professional practices of all sizes and is highly valued by finance teams outside of public practice.

Past students have gone on to become finance directors of public companies, partners in professional practices, or used their knowledge to set up and run their own businesses. Whichever direction is chosen we feel that the training given here should give you a strong foundation from which to expand your knowledge and achieve your goals.

Training Contracts

We are always looking for graduates to apply to our audit department. As an ICAEW training firm, we offer training contracts in our graduate programme where you will work towards the prestigious ACA qualification. Should you succeed in our recruitment process, you’ll join an intake of other graduates and be provided with tuition and support throughout your studies.

We welcome those candidates with strong academic credentials and the discipline and commitment required to study for challenging exams. You don’t need to have studied accounting or finance as we value a diversity of backgrounds, but you should have good knowledge of what the ACA qualification entails and be able to demonstrate a capacity for problem-solving as well as enthusiasm for the profession and for working as part of our audit team.
